Use Strong Passwords

Use different user ID/password combinations for different accounts and avoid writing them down.  Make sure your passwords are strong by combining letters, numbers, special characters, making them a minimum of 10 characters in total, and changing them on a regular basis.

Secure your wireless network

Wi-Fi networks are vulnerable to intrusion if they are not properly secured.  Make sure to review and modify default settings. 

Public Wi-Fi, aka Hotspots, is available just about everywhere.  It is important to remember that public Wi-Fi networks are also vulnerable to intrusion. 

Please use caution when using public Wi-Fi. Avoid connecting to bank accounts or accessing sensitive personal data on unsecured public networks.
